About the Course

Blood makes up around 7% of the weight of a human body. It takes only about 20 to 60 seconds for a drop of blood to travel through your body and reach back to the heart. Understanding the indispensability of physiology of blood, we have designed a separate course covering all aspects of physiology of blood, using high quality animations and graphics to explain the intriguing concepts in this subject very lucidly.
This comprehensive course on the physiology of blood first introduces the constituent cell components of blood and plasma and then goes on to cover topics such as the buffering systems, homeostasis, hemostasis, blood grouping, immunity and jaundice.

The delivery offers tremendous flexibility. You may pause a teacher while you refer to your textbooks (not includes) and to take notes. You may also rewind a segment to listen to the teacher again or you may skip a slide or two if you already know that bit. You may bookmark a segment that you wish to return to later, maybe to refresh just before your exams. While the lessons in this course may be arranged in a particular order based on our curriculum, you have the flexibility to take them in order of your preference based on your personalized learning needs.

What does the course material contain?

The course material contains a series of video lectures with state of the art visual depictions for easy understanding and remembering. You will also be given access to a series of multiple choice questions on the same topic for your self-assessment and a more thorough understanding of the topic.

Is there an exam or an assessment?

There are no exams. These courses are for self-study. Our MCQs however help in self assessing yourself.

For how long can I access the course material?

You can complete the course material over a period of 6 months. However you can view the video lectures for twice the duration of the lectures. You can renew your access with a nominal extra charge.
